Designer Secrets

I was just looking at the cover of a national shelter magazine one of the HOOKS is Designer Secrets…Like what will they tell “I don’t wear underpants” “ I had an affair with Randolph Scott” Oh hell no, now here is a bowl over  “I repeat the same color in a room , Even if it’s just the edging of a lampshade” WOW what a revelation. I want to be sure to remember that. All these years doing interiors and I’m just now finding this out. I must remember to trim the lampshades in a color all ready used in the room. Not just some random color I happen to see out the window….Now here’s another shocker … READY, “Mirrors bring glamour to a room” not may or can but evidentially always DO…so don’t put mirrors in you son’s room. The next thing you know he will be singing Beyonce  tunes. And speaking of Beyonce did any one see her imitation of DIANA ROSS  this morning on GMA? Perched up there on that piano.  Now this girl is beautiful I’ll give her that and she did do a pretty good job on the Etta James hit” At Last” for the new President and First Lady …but she is NOT  Diana Ross by  any stretch of the imagination. I don’t care how big her natural  wig gets or how many times she gazes up and off into outer space……..
